A cinch strap review… let me think……..

LOL. Well yeah. I use them on my tail rack for anything that needs tying down. Now these are specialty straps for sure and can be used more strategically. I mean, there are TWO buckles per strap, which I have adjusted when using my Mosko 30L Duffle/Pack - I want to have control over the location my buckles sit fore and aft of my tether points on the rack. On the other hand, I got a second set, as I had seen the long bare tether webbings looped together (no buckles) by a friend to tow another friend's bike. I realized how useful they can be in different circumstances. So I keep the second set free for unforeseen events that arise when we’re out and about. So thank you Mosko for making a strong, versatile, and thoughtful tether.

Backcountry Cinch Straps - Preorder

Backcountry Cinch Straps

Now even stronger! The Backcountry Cinch Straps are used to secure a rear duffle or pannier topper to your bike. This is our version of the ultimate cinch strap. There are no elastic or plastic parts to break/stretch on a long trip – just high-tensile polyfilament webbing, two metal cam buckles, and features you won’t find in any other strap.

*Priced and sold as a pair

These two-piece straps quickly connect to the bike using lanyard loops, and they also have adjustable-length tails, so they'll work on everything from a large high capacity duffle to a small pannier topper. They include strap keepers, so your excess strap lengths won't flap around in the wind, and the buckles have a webbing backing to prevent damage to the bag/bike.

We designed these straps to function as an emergency tow strap if you have a breakdown (put the rear duffle on your back, worn as a backpack, and use the straps to tow) or an emergency tie-down system if you have to load your bike in the back of someone's truck in a pinch. Check out the product video to see how it works.
